What are the best Browning firearms you can buy?

John Browning is a pillar of American firearm design. He has made major contributions to the world of firearms – in military and civilian firearms, cartridges, and gun mechanisms. His contributions made such an impact that both shooters and firearms historians consider him a legend. Who hasn’t heard of the 1911 or Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR)?

Browning Arms Company (now just Browning) was originally created to market the sporting/civilian designs of John Browning, but due to J. Browning prolific nature nearly all of John Browning’s firearm designs have been manufactured under license by other companies. Today Browning focuses on their A-Bolt and X-Bolt bolt-action rifles, the BAR semi-automatic rifle, the BPR pump-action rifle, the BPS pump-action shotgun, the Auto-5 semi-automatic shotgun, and the Hi-Power pistol.

The best Browning pistol is certainly subjective – but they tend to focus on the 1911 and Buck Mark pistols, of which you’ll find many variations. We’ve featured the top-selling Browning handguns below.
