The Winchester XPR is an innovative rifle that meets the performance expectations of todays demanding hunters. Its a rugged no nonsense gamegetter that will put meat in your freezer for many years to come. Most of all the featurepacked XPR boltaction rifle embodies the lasting quality youve come to expect from Winchester Repeating Arms. Winchesters M.O.A. Trigger System is the heart of every XPR rifle. The trigger housing and all internal components in the M.O.A trigger are constructed of polished and hardened carbon steel with a blued finish for added durability and corrosion resistance. It also has a twoposition safety thats convenient to operate with the thumb of your firing hand. Located just in front of the safety button the bolt release button allows the action to cycle unfired cartridges while the safety is on. The cocking indicator on the bolt shroud gives you both a tactile and visual reference of the rifles cockeduncocked condition. The robust XPR bolt is crafted from chromoly steel barstock and is throughhardened during heattreatment. The bolt design offers three front locking lugs and a short 60degree lift for improved scope clearance when cycling. A tough nickel Teflon coating provides smooth operation and added corrosion resistance. The onepiece trigger guard and magazine frame design offers a generous guard opening for use with gloves. The chromoly steel barrel on the XPR rifle is precisely buttonrifled to create outstanding accuracy with a wide variety of bullet weights and types. The entire barrel is freefloating to eliminate any accuracy robbing pressure points. The XPR also features a drilled  tapped chromoly steel receiver synthetic stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad and a detachable single stack box magazine. The Renegade Long Range features a Grayboe stock and a PermaCote metal finish.

Winchester Model 1873 .22 Short Rifle manufactured c.1901. The barrel has a dovetail mounted sporting style front sight with silver bead and a sporting style rear sight. The barrel, magazine, forearm cap and receiver are blue and the hammer, lever and crescent buttplate are color casehardened. The stock and forearm are straight grain black walnut with a varnish finish. The left barrel flat is roll-stamped with the two-line legend "WINCHESTER'S REPEATING ARMS.NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A./KING'S IMPROVEMENT PATENTED MARCH 29 1866. OCTOBER 16. 1860." ahead of the rear sight. The caliber designation "22 SHORT" is roll-stamped of the left barrel flat ahead of the receiver. Oval Winchester "W/P" proof marks are stamped on the top of the barrel and the receiver. ".22 CAL/SHORT" is stamped in script letters on the bottom of the brass cartridge elevator. The upper receiver tang is roll-stamped "MODEL 1873/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK. REG. IN.US.PAT.OFF." in three lines. The serial number "560286B" is stamped on the lower tang between the lever latch and the tang screw.

A slightly modified version of the Browning designed Winchester Model 1886, it was only chambered for the .348 Winchester round; except for an extremely rare .45-70 Government and .33 WCF. It was also (other than 400 rifles chambered for the .348 in the Cimarron 1885 Hi-Wall in 2005-06) the only firearm that ever used that cartridge. The Model 71 was conceived as a replacement for both the Model 1886 and Model 1895 as a complement to the Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle and to replace a raft of cartridges (the .33 Winchester, the .45-70, the .35 Winchester, and the .405 Winchester) with just one (the .348 Winchester).[2] The rifle and cartridge were very effective against any North American big game in heavy timber, including the great bears, if using the 250-grain (16 g) bullet. It was once very popular for hunting in Canada and Alaska. Manufactured 1951.
